Four brothers. One quartet.
Entertaining, innovative and
sometimes zany barbershop
entertainment for any event.
Since their inception in 1984, the 4 Hims have performed in a wide variety
of venues including outdoor festivals, tabernacle concert series, backyard parties,
theater galas, choral recitals, weddings, musicals, universities, church functions, rock
concerts, and more.
Their well-developed blend of barbershop, a capella, and instrumental music, combined with a zany sense of humor – including a willingness to occasionally look a little foolish (purely in service of the greater good, of course) – makes for unique and delightful entertainment that clients have called "fantastic" and "hilariously entertaining."
Whether it be a medley of standards, barbershop favorites, an instrumental version of 2001 (minus the instruments), a slightly demented version of Old McDonald, or the storied Sesame Street version of Count it Higher, the 4 Hims’ rapport with audiences and mastery of various musical styles – some, admittedly, created right on the spot, and not necessarily on purpose – have won them numerous fans, some of whom have asked them to sing at their funerals (though, happily, that necessity has not yet arisen).
